Frequently asked questions

What bracelet size?

How to Find Your Bracelet Size

-Measure your wrist where you would like to wear the bracelet. If you do not have a flexible measuring tape, a strip of paper, or even a shoelace or string can be used, measuring against a ruler after.

-Add about 1/4" to 3/4" to that measurement depending on how snug (1/4") or loose (3/4") you want the fit to be.

-For example, I measure my wrist to be 7 inches, but want a comfort fit, I would order a bracelet at 7 1/2".

Care instructions

For aluminum, steel, and many other metals, simply soaking the jewelry in warm water with some Dawn dish soap added and then scrubbing with a soft clean brush (toothbrush) should clean the jewelry well.

Avoid other chemicals and methods, particularly if the piece contains a mixture of metals, as what cleans one could damage the other.

Custom and personalized orders

If you have an idea for something different from what designs I already that you would like, please send me a message! I can make things out of other materials, make a pattern larger, smaller, longer, etc. Chain mail can be very flexible.

Why so much Aluminum?

I find aluminum to be one of the most versatile metals to work in. It offers moderate strength, low weight, good corrosion resistance, is easy to work in, and can be anodized into a variety of colors. Large earrings and thick bracelets and necklaces can be a fraction of the weight of those made from other materials.
